The Machine

Springs, a carriage, and control.

The reformer is a bed-like frame with a sliding carriage, springs for resistance, straps and a footbar. Lying, sitting or standing on the moving carriage, you work against the springs with slow, deliberate control.

It is precise, supportive and low impact, and it meets you exactly where you are: the same machine can challenge a strong body or hold a tired one.

Who It Suits

Made for real bodies.

No experience needed. Every movement is scaled to your level.

a.

Beginners

You are guided through the machine from the first minute, with movements scaled to your level.

b.

Desk bodies

For shoulders that live near your ears and hips that sit all day, the reformer gives back length and control.

c.

Postnatal recovery

A gentle, progressive way to rebuild deep strength after birth, at your own pace.

d.

Strength without impact

For anyone who wants to get stronger without jumping, pounding or loading sore joints.

Group & Private

Two ways to practise.

Group Classes

Move together

Small group reformer classes with close attention from your teacher. Booking runs on Rezerv, and the quickest way to reserve your carriage is a WhatsApp message.

Private Sessions

One to one

A session built entirely around your body and your goals, whether you are brand new, returning after birth, or deepening an existing practice. Arranged on WhatsApp.

The Experience

A quiet hour, well spent.

01

Settle in

Your teacher sets the springs for your body and your day, then guides you onto the carriage.

02

Move with control

Slow, precise movements against the springs, with your breath setting the pace.

03

Finish quietly

A few minutes of release to close, and you stand up feeling worked, not wrecked.

Questions

Before your first class.

I have never used a reformer. Can I still join?

Yes. Every reformer class starts with the machine, the springs and the carriage explained plainly, and movements are scaled to your level. If you prefer one-to-one attention to begin, book a private session first.

How is reformer different from mat pilates?

On the mat, your body weight provides the resistance. The reformer adds springs and a moving carriage, which support you in some movements and challenge you in others. Many students find it more precise, and it stays low impact throughout.

How do I book a reformer class?

Booking runs on Rezerv. Message us on WhatsApp and we will help you pick a class and reserve your spot, or book through our current site at haestudio.my.

Do you offer private reformer sessions?

Yes. Private reformer sessions are available alongside group classes. Tell us what you would like to work on and we will arrange a time that suits you.

What should I wear?

Come in comfortable, fairly fitted clothing you can move freely in, so your teacher can see your alignment. We will guide you through everything else on the day.
